🖍️ How to Draw for Beginners – From a 7-Year-Old’s View
By Bilal 👦🏻✏️
Hi! I’m Bilal, I’m 7 years old, and I LOVE drawing!
I started drawing when I was super little (like maybe 4 years old), and now I draw every single day. If you're new to drawing, don’t worry — I’ll tell you my secret tips that are super fun and easy!
---
✏️ Step 1: Pick Something You Love
Start by drawing something you really like! I love cartoons, animals, and superheroes. You can draw your favorite character, a pizza with eyes, or even a dinosaur on a skateboard!
---
🎨 Step 2: Get Your Tools Ready
You don’t need fancy stuff. Here's what I use:
A pencil (with an eraser because I make mistakes too!)
Paper (even the back of my homework)
Markers or colored pencils for the fun part — coloring!
---
👀 Step 3: Look and Copy
I learn by looking at pictures or watching videos on YouTube. Try to copy the shapes — like circles for heads and rectangles for bodies. It’s like building a LEGO person, but with your pencil!
---
🔄 Step 4: Make Mistakes (It’s Good!)
Sometimes my drawings look silly or the eyes are HUGE. That’s okay! Every time you draw, you get better. My mom says, “Mistakes are just practice in disguise.” I like that. 😄
---
🖌️ Step 5: Color Like a Boss
This is my favorite part! I use all the colors. Don’t worry about staying inside the lines. Sometimes I even color the sky green. Why not? It’s YOUR art!
---
📺 Step 6: Watch Cool Videos
I learn from fun YouTube videos like:
“How to Draw a Cute Puppy”
“Cartoon Food Drawing”
“Step-by-Step Easy Characters”
👉 I’ll add my favorite links here soon!
---
🎉 Final Tip: Just Have Fun!
Drawing is like playing — but on paper. If you draw something, and it makes you smile, then you’re doing it RIGHT!
Thanks for reading my drawing tips! Try them, and tag me if you post your art — I want to see it! 👇🎨
